The Racing the Roof! 5K Run/ 2 Mile Walk and Kids K is planned for Sunday, May 6, starting at East-West Stadium in Fairmont. Race registration will begin at 1 p.m. The Run/Walk will begin at 2 p.m., and the Kids Race will begin at 3 p.m. For more information, contact (304) 636-4244. Registration is $20 ($25 after April 18) for the 5K Run, $20 for the 2 Mile Walk ($25 after April 18) and $5 for the Kids K. The following age divisions will be available: 19 or younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and older. Participants will receive T-shirts. All Kids K participants will receive a medal. Medals will be awarded to the overall first, second and third place male and female, as well as to one male and female in each division.
