Gather ‘round at the West Virginia Storytelling Festival for lively tales, Appalachian stories and mountain culture, all told by the masters of the West Virginia Storytelling Guild.
Entertainment

Or, take in gleaming chrome and sleek lines at DJ’s 50s and 60s Diner Cruise In every Thursday evening through September. Prefer more rugged vehicles? Cheer on powerful off-roaders as they grind through the Fall Truck Mud Bog!
Enjoy bluegrass, home-style dinner and a casual country setting at Back Roads & BBQ at the historic Hamilton Round Barn, or catch country’s finest at the weekly Sagebrush Round-Up show!
Gear up for a little competition!
Pedal your way up the mountain terrain at the Valley Falls Enduro. Or if cross-country is more to your liking, enter the WVMBA XC bike race!

WVBMX Assoiction is hosting the 2016 Valley Falls Challenge and Enduro Race at Valley Falls State Park.
How’s your aim? Find out with a game of disc golf Sept. 17-18 for a chance to win several thousand dollars in cash! The Seth Burton Memorial Disc Golf Tournament will have generous player packs, payouts and prizes.
