The 58th Annual Paw Paw District Fair

What’s in a name? A paw paw by any other name would be a… manana?

A paw paw is a fruit that once grew along the Paw Paw River, and still grows in more than half the United States. Some say it tastes like a cross between a mango and a banana.

We just say it tastes like fun!

It is finally time— for the 58th time— to attend the Paw Paw District Fair!PawPaw5-1

What you need to know:

  • Rivesville, WV
  • July 15- 19
  • Admission: $8 per person
  • Gates open at 3 p.m.
  • Rides open at 6:30 p.m.
  • Closes at 11 p.m.

While having nothing to do with fruit, the Paw Paw Fair is a fun, muddy extra during Marion County summers (and has been since 1946!).
