Musical Marion

As if live performances can’t get better, some come with tasty, tangy meals on the side. So pull up a chair in Marion County for Blues & BBQ at Palatine Park. A Blues Brothers tribute band, The Dennis McClung Blues Band, and Bugsy Kline & The Blue Devils will perform from 5-11 p.m. on the 9th.

For something classical, venture over to St. Peter the Fisherman Church in Fairmont for Lawler + Fadoul, a flutist and marimbist. Their repertoire on September 24 will dip into timeless masterpieces and modern compositions alike.

There’s also the hometown favorite, Backroads & BBQ on September 30. Look forward to delicious fare and uplifting, rousing music at the Hamilton Round Barn in Mannington.
