Cafe Diem is located at 2408 Paw Paw Creek Rd (between Rivesville and Grant Town). They have been feeding locals breakfast, lunch and dinner to rave reviews. From a stacked corned beef sandwich to Shepherds Pie even the most picky eater will leave satiated.

Located at 1316 Locust Avenue, McAteers has been feeding locals and Fairmont State students and faculty since 1958. They have a made to order breakfast and lunch menu and homemade bread that is to die for. The highlight of the year is their traditional St. Patrick’s Day Dinner. They start serving at 10:00 am and when they run out, that’s it.

Dairy Kone, 654 Pike Street, features the Monongah Monster Sandwich, raspberry ice cream, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, pepperoni rolls, a jumbo roll, hoagies, fries along with daily and weekly specials. Although you’ll have to wait for spring to enjoy the Dairy Kone.

The Cotton Patch, located at 3300 Husky Highway is tucked inside a floral and gift shop. The Cotton Patch is a classic diner that is a favorite with the locals serving breakfast, sandwiches, desserts and daily specials.

Dutchman’s Daughter, located at 2795 White Hall Blvd, is a family-style restaurant serving, well, family favorites. The cozy atmosphere is just as welcoming as their comfy foods. Think meatloaf & mashed potatoes, spaghetti & meatballs with garlic bread. . .you get the idea.

It’s retro at DJ’s 50’s & 60’s Diner


Pleasant Valley
You can’t miss DJ’s 50s & 60s Diner, located at 1181 Airport Road, because it is housed in an iconic silver dining car. You’ll find a full service restaurant, serving breakfast (served all day), lunch and dinner. They have a large variety of homemade lunch & dinner specials as well as homemade desserts, old-fashioned floats & sundaes. The nostalgic decor is a real blast from the past.

The Belmont is located at 608 Bellview Blvd (between Fairmont and Rivesville). They are open daily from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and in addition to serving breakfast all day, they also feature daily specials along with soups and sandwiches.
