New Mannington Gallery Gives Historic Stop a Creative New Vibe

A little piece of history is getting a creative new purpose.

The Seeking Stars Art team has revived the historic Mannington train depot with the Nativibes Studio & Art Gallery, a community hub for the arts.

Nativibes gallery brings classes, exhibitions, themed events, fashion shows and other art-inspired activities to the community. They also plan to round out the cultural variety with special guest instructors and international artists.

Nativibes gallery resident artist Ben Kolb is a Mannington local who captures his outdoor adventures and infuses their spirit into his paintings, watercolors and jewelry collections. He crafts everything from hand-carved bone and abalone shell to heated and hand-pounded gold brass. The colorful, nature-driven pieces guarantee to delight fishing, nature and earth lovers.

Through the SSA team, Ben collaborates with 4 other featured artists from 3 other states to create, display and showcase art-inspired products at art exhibitions, fashion shows and photo shoots. You can see some of their works in the Nativibes gallery and available online for purchase.
