11th Annual Tomato Festival

The Marion County Master Gardeners will host their 11th Annual Tomato Festival. The day will include tomato tastings, farmers’ market, plant sale, live music, artisans, vendors, demonstrations and food.
If you would like to enter your prized tomatoes for judging, bring 5 large or 20 cherry tomatoes to the Marion County Visitor Center on Saturday, August 17 between 9 am and noon.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the best tasting large tomato and cherry tomato. Prizes will also be awarded for the heaviest tomato, People’s Choice, and most unusual looking tomato.
