Ted Dreisinger was born in Toronto, Canada and has lived the majority of his life in the United States. His father was pastor of the First Baptist Church in Fairmont, West Virginia for a number of years in the 1950s and 60s. Ted’s life in Fairmont began at Butcher Grade School. He attended Fairmont Senior High School where he was a three-sport athlete, and graduated from Fairmont State University. He went on to do graduate work in Wisconsin and completed a PhD at the University of Missouri in 1974.
He is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he was an air traffic controller. He taught exercise science at the university level, has published clinical papers professionally, and has spoken both in the U.S. and overseas for several years in the area of chronic back and neck pain. He has traveled extensively from which he draws many of his observations about life.
His personal interests are in the development and expression of philosophy and spiritual thought. He lives with his wife Molly in Tucson, Arizona.
