Foot-tappin’ Americana-folksy blues with just a bit of traditional rock country and bluegrass…. just for fun!!
The Masons are Skip and Cindi. Skip plays acoustic guitar and lead vocals, and keeps the audience entertained with his humor. Cindi plays the acoustic bass and harmony vocals, and keeps their show on the road.
Their interests in music have been sparked by the great names that moved them, from the early greats such as Hank Williams and Woody Guthrie to the rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Clapton, The Allman Bros., and the Beatles.
Over the past few years, The Masons have evolved with tight arrangements, smooth harmonies, and their ability to put their Appalachian spin on familiar songs, which has generated enthusiastic audience support from the numerous performances throughout their home state of West Virginia. Now The Masons are taking their music to an expanded audience throughout the East Coast.
The Masons are an upbeat acoustic duo with a focus on the songs that you forgot you knew, a few popular favorites, and an occasional original if the mood is right!
