Lord Dunmore & Conquest of OH Country

This presentation will discuss the factors leading to the war, its consequences for tribal peoples and frontier settlers, and its legacy as part of a series of confrontations between Natives of the Ohio Country and frontier whites and colonial officials.
Travis Henline is currently the Site Manager of WV Independence Hall,WV Division of Culture and History. He has a MA in History from WVU, and is the former manager in the Dept. of Public History Development and Coordinator of the American Indian Initiative at Colonial Williamsburg.
