PattyFest 2014

13th Annual PattyFest – Old-Time Music Festival celebrating the life and music of Patty Looman – renowned mountain dulcimer and hammered dulcimer musician

The program includes workshops, an open stage, a square dance and jammin’. Registration forms for workshops and open-stage performances are found at PattyFest.org. The registration deadline for first-come, first-served open stage performances is May 15, 2014.
Food, including many fine West Virginia traditional delicacies – such as soup beans and corn bread and fried potatoes (with and without ramps) – and vegetarian selections, will be available on site throughout the day.
Only acoustic instruments will be permitted. Sound equipment will be provided for open-stage performances. Pre-recorded music will not be allowed on stage.

Location: East Fairmont High School
Parking: handicap parking is available
Doors open at 9:00 am
Workshops 9:30 am – 6:15 pm
Open stage performances: 12:00 – 9:30 pm
Open jam (everyone invited): 8 – 9 pm
Food service: 11 am – 6 pm
Musicians, please register upon arrival and report to the stage at least 15 minutes before performance time.
