PattyFest 2016

14th Annual PattyFest – Old-Time Music Festival celebrating the life and music of Patty Looman – renowned mountain and hammered dulcimer musician (2007 Vandalia Award Winner – WV’s highest folklife honor http://ow.ly/Mu6a2)
The event includes workshops, an open stage, a square dance and jammin’ along with many fine WV traditional delicacies – such as soup beans and corn bread and fried potatoes (with and without ramps) – and vegetarian selections will be available.
Handicap parking is available
Registration forms for workshops and open-stage performances are found at PattyFest.org. Musicians, must register upon arrival and report to the stage at least 15 minutes before performance time. Only acoustic instruments will be permitted. Sound equipment will be provided for open-stage performances. Pre-recorded music will not be allowed on stage.
Grounds open at 9 a.m. Workshops are from 9:30 am. with the last one finishing up at 7 pm. A drawing will be held at 7 pm. and an open jam begins. (Everyone invited).
