September 14 Pricketts Fort Lecture Series: History Alive ( Chief Cornstalk)
Sunday 2pm
Cornstalk led close to a thousand warriors against an equal number of Colonial troops during Dunmore’s War in 1774 at the Battle of Point Pleasant. He rose to become leader of all Shawnee tribes and the northern confederacy of tribes that included Shawnee, Mingoes, Wyandottes, Delawares,and Cayugas. Cornstalk will be portrayed by Dan Cutler of Milton WV. This presentation is made possible by the West Virginia Humanities Council.

Historic Attractions Open April 21-October 31
Days and Hours of Operation: Monday to Saturday 10 – 4:00, Sunday 12 – 4:00
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays after Labor Day

Admission: $8 adults, $6 seniors (60 and up), $4 children 6-12, 5 and under free
PFMF Members receive free admission and a 10% discount on classes and workshops.
