Saw Whet Owl Banding at Valley Falls

Banding of Northern Saw-whet Owls (NSWO) is scheduled in October and November, weather permitting.
Individuals interested in observing and assisting Joey Herron with this activity should dress warmly, bring a flashlight, camera, and a folding chair.
Joey has caught over 300 owls in 11 years, and is hoping for a good year this year.
Attendees will meet at Valley Falls State Park.
Other designated banding dates include October 29 and November 4 & 5
