In conjunction with The Feast of the Seven Fishes is the 6th Annual Coal Miners Appreciation Day Swap Meet. Come and celebrate the coal mining heritage of our region! Vendors and collectors can buy, sell, trade or have memorabilia appraised. Admission is free.Find out more »
Have some great food and wine at this winter street festival. Enjoy live music, artisan market and authentic Italian cuisine downtown on the corner of Monroe and Adams streets. Indoor seating will be available in the old Firehouse building on Monroe Street.

11 a.m. - Artisans, food and wine vendors will be set up on Monroe Street and inside The Gatherings.

5 p.m. - Fairmont Christmas Parade will start on 4th Street and Fairmont Avenue, proceed on Adams Street, turn right onto Jefferson Street, cross the Million Dollar Bridge and end at Palatine Park.
5:30 p.m. - Mass, Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church at 407 Jackson Street
The West Augusta Historical Society is hosting their annual Greenery Bazaar in the log cabin behind the Wilson School Museum. The sale is on December 7, 8 & 9. As the Feast of the Seven Fishes Festival wraps up another day of all things Italian, stay and enjoy the Fairmont Christmas Parade. The parade route follows Fairmont Avenue at 4th Street, turning right at the courthouse and proceeding over the Jefferson Street Bridge, turning left onto Merchant Street, and ending at the Palatine Park intersection.Find out more »

The Celebration of Lights is a Marion tradition and an annual fundraiser for the United Way of Marion County. Local individuals, families and businesses have sponsored over 420 lighted holiday displays for holiday viewing enjoyment.
