Jimmy Fortune toured, sang and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years, writing three No. 1 hits including “Elizabeth,” on their 1983 album Today. Jimmy was inducted into the GMA (Gospel Music Association) Hall of Fame on Oct. 29, 2007, and inducted into the CMA (Country Music Association) Hall of Fame on June 29, 2008.
