Valley Falls Challenge and Enduro Race

The West Virginia Mountain Bike Association presents their new series for 2019:

About the course? Beautiful. Scenic. Refreshing.

vf 3 Imagine pedaling your little heart out, riding off into the sun as your hair flows in the wind. This course will have all those great downhill runs for hair flowing.  (Don’t forget, somehow you have to get up that hill to experience the downhill run.)

Expert racers will be doing approximately 18 miles, the sport division 13 miles and beginners will be racing 8 miles. It’s looking less and less refreshing, isn’t it?

Check the route for yourself!

Free stuff!

  • First 100 people get free t-shirtsvf 4

The Valley Falls Enduro Race – EN #2
En – Enduro – 2 to qualify, top 3 + final = total

Riders can expect 3-4 stages of timed runs. These will be mostly downhill, but there may be flats or small uphills in the course. Riders will start at defined intervals.
After each stage, there will be an uphill transfer riding section to get to the next timed segment. These will be ridden but not timed.
At the end of the event, each rider’s times for each stage will be added together and scored for the lowest time.
