Historical arts workshop: Beginning Blacksmithing with Greg Bray

Join us as the Augusta County Militia explores the life and times of early Appalachian pioneer Joseph Doddridge with demonstrations of several crafts based on Doddridge's writing as well as conducting militia operations. A militia muster, inspection, and the dispatching of scouts and spies will be discussed and demonstrated throughout the weekend.
