Self-Guided Audio Tours At Pricketts Fort

Step into the past at Pricketts Fort State Park, where history unfolds through a captivating self-guided audio tour. Available during the off-season from January to March 25, immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the fort. Tickets are $4 per person and can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pricketts Fort Visitor Center. Let the audio guide be your companion as you explore the fascinating layers of history at your own pace.

Valentine's Day at the Senator's Mansion

Spend Valentine's weekend in Marion, and experience "A Date with Death" at the Senator's Mansion with your special someone. This murder mystery dinner will entertain and delight. Fairmont Chamber Music Concert

The second half of the Fairmont Chamber Music Society’s season starts on Feb. 16 with the Zodiac Trio. The trio brings a passionate and dynamic performance and a signature sound to every show. Tickets may be purchased at the door ($10 for adults and $6 for seniors and students).

Weekly Live Music

Live music returns to the Sagebrush Round-Up on February 17. Enjoy performances every Saturday evening at West Virginia’s Country Music Hall of Fame. Come early and try a home-cooked dinner. And be sure to snap a selfie in front of the large acoustic guitar!

Pricketts Fort Events

Pricketts Fort State Park’s 18th Century Firearms and Accoutrements Show will be Feb. 21-22. The show will feature numerous vendors and craftsmen from the Appalachian region who specialize in crafting 18th-century weaponry, such as rifles, gunpowder horns, knives, tomahawks and decorative items, including leather pouches and quilt work. The show dates are Friday, Feb. 21 from 12- 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fairmont Ice Bowl

The 21st Annual Fairmont Ice Bowl will be Feb. 22 at Morris Park. The Ice Bowl is a national charity disc golf program that raises donations for local food banks, and proceeds from this tournament are going to the Fairmont Soup Opera. Entry for the Ice Bowl is $40 and a food donation. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in singles, doubles and overall. Register for this event today!
