Spend The Holidays In Marion County!

The beloved Marion County tradition is back! The 16th Annual Celebration of Lights opens on November 24 and runs until December 30. Drive through 1.3 miles of mesmerizing light displays at Morris Park. The park will be closed every Wednesday of the season (weather permitting) for Walker Nights. Enjoy the lights up close and personal as you stroll through the park.

Save the date for some fun holiday events, too! Find the perfect local gift during Market in the Park on November 18. Get ready to glow and throw on December 5 for the Holiday Glow Bowl at Morris Park. Then, enjoy the crisp winter air during the Reindeer Run 5K on December 12.

18th-Century Christmas Tours

Before the days of Black Friday shopping and LED lights, there were homemade wreaths, pine boughs and candles. This holiday season, experience how our colonial ancestors used to celebrate. Join us for the annual Prickett’s Fort Christmas Tour. The tour includes period costumes, scenery and decor from the pioneer era. The holiday tours will take place on November 26, December 1 (this tour includes a hearth cooking demonstration) and December 3. There is also an option to enjoy a Candlelight Tour with live period music on November 25 and December 2.

Feast of the Seven Fishes Festival

Celebrate the holidays in Marion County with the annual Feast of the Seven Fishes Festival on December 8 and 9!
