Get ready for the annual Run to Read 5K/ 10K Run to Read fundraiser!
The Literacy Volunteers of Marion County will host both a 5k race and a 10k run/walk July 26. Registration opens at 5 p.m. and races start at 6 p.m. Both races will begin at 12th Street Pool in Fairmont. Register online at Runtoread.org. Registration fee for the 5K is $30. Registration fee for the 10K is $35. No refunds are offered.
After the event, awards and refreshments will be given during a free private pool party for race participants and their families courtesy of Marion County Parks and Recreation.
All proceeds benefit Literacy Volunteers of Marion County, a 501 © (3) entity that provides free tutoring in reading, math, and ESOL(English as a Second Language)
