Forks of the Buffalo BBQ Throwdown

A KCBS Sanctioned Event with KCBS certified judges, the winner of this event will get a chance at representing WV at the Jack Daniels Worldwide Invitational BBQ Championship. Forks of the Buffalo BBQ Throwdown is also a qualifying event for the American Royal BBQ Event.

Friday, May 20th:
4 pm gates open
5 pm cooks meeting and dinner
6:30 pm queen’s pageant starts (main stage)
Saturday, May 21st:
10 am gates open
11 am car cruise-in (pool parking lot) and little miss pageant (main stage)
12 pm chicken turn in (gym)
12:30 pm ribs turn in (gym)
1 pm pork turn in (gym)
1:30 pm brisket turn in (gym)
2 pm people’s choice turn in (under gym)
2 – 3:30 pm people’s choice judging (under gym)
4:30 pm awards ceremony for day 1 (main stage)
5 pm RSW Pro Wrestling (main stage)
7 pm Marshall Lowery Band (main stage)
Sunday, May 22nd:
10 am gates open
11 am corn hole tournament
12 pm chicken turn in (gym)
12:30 pm ribs turn in (gym)

4:30 awards ceremony for day 2 (main stage)
