LVMC Run to Read Half Marathon
January 8, 2022 @ 11:30 am - 6:00 pm
The 17th Annual Run to Read Half Marathon begins at 1 pm with race day registration at 11:30 am. The course is a 1% grade, starting on the paved MCPARC Trail and running through the Meredith tunnel before going back to Pricketts Fort. The second section will be run on the Mon River Trail, and the race will finish on this trail. (USATF sanctioned.)
The cost to participate is $40.00 Race Fee + $3.32 SignUp Fee. Price increases to $45.00 after December 31. (This is a charity event so no refund for any reason including weather.)

Course Description:
Race Map – Double out & back course. 1% grade. Starting on the paved Mcparc Trail running through the Meredith tunnel and back to Prickett’s Fort. The first section is blacktop & is about 4.2 miles in length. The second section will be run on the Mon River Trail which is crushed limestone & the race will finish on the trail.

Walkers: Walkers are welcome but not awarded. 4-hour time limit (food still available right up to 6 pm). Walkers WILL get a finisher medal!
