On Saturday Dec. 14th, the Woman’s Club of Fairmont is sponsoring a series of programs and displays on the important works of two important early 20th Century Fairmont men whose work advanced local art and architecture: Andrew C. Lyons, architect, and Raymond Stoker, artist/photographer from 1-5 p.m. Tours, displays and discussions will be featured throughout the afternoon. The Woman’s Club will also offer tours of the historic Fleming Mansion. Participants can enjoy a light tea…
Mansion tours and tea available for $5 donation; viewing the displays and participating in the programs are provided at no charge throughout the day. Presentations are scheduled for specific times; however the photographs, paintings and other information about the works of Andrew C. Lyons and Raymond Stoker can be viewed at any time during the hours of 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
