The series is in response to 'Hillbilly Elegy' by J.D. Vance and will explore who lives and works in Appalachia and how our heritage has an impact on who we are as a people.
First in the series is Joe Valencic from the Cleveland-style Polka Museum. He will talk about Slovenian migration to West Virginia and the polka music that group brought with them.

Smokin’ on the Buffalo

In conjunction with 2018 Oktoberfest, Baby B's is hosting the first ever Smokin' on the Buffalo, a BBQ cooking contest. Set up begins at noon on Friday, so come by to smell the deliciousness! While you're there, enter the corn hole tournament, check out the car and bike show and enjoy the live music (from 5-10 p.m.).
