On July 14 & 15, the Marion County Historical Society and Museum is hosting Native American Days. Weapons, examples of furs, housing models, artifacts, crafts information boards, musical instruments, and stories of the Lenape people will be displayed and discussed.

The Marion County Historical Society Inc. & Museum hosts a Native American History & Culture Weekend on August 26 - 27. The event is spearheaded by historic interpreters John and Stormy Brasuk, who will appear in traditional Native American clothing. Activities include an exhibit, talks, and demonstrations from 10 a.m.. until 5 p.m. each day.

West Virginia University Professor, Edwin Daryl Michael will discuss his new book, "The Missing Hand" at the Marion County Museum. The book is a true story set in WV in the 1940's.
