The African American Experience on the Western Virginia Frontier

July 27 – 31, Sheila Arnold will present a first-person interpretation of an African American slave using Pricketts Fort for the backdrop of her interpretation.

Also, on Tuesday July 30, interpreter Cordelia Spencer will be doing a special hearth cooking demo on African foods during the 18th century.
