Calling all kayak and canoe enthusiasts! It’s time for the Annual Great Buffalo Canoe Race. Registration starts at 8 am at Hough Park and the race begins at 9 am. Riders can expect 3-4 stages of timed runs. These will be mostly downhill, but there may be flats or small uphills in the course. Riders will start at defined intervals. This is the opening day of the 39th Annual West Virginia Three Rivers Festival. Enjoy the rides, the riverfront, the food and the fun! Stay tuned for more!
Carnival opens at 5 pm. Grand Feature Parade starts at 6 pm. Opening ceremonies begin at 8 p.m. Chad Lane DJ and Karaoke start at 9 pm. Festival closes at 10 pm.
