The 20th annual observance of Julia Pierpont Decoration Day will be held on Saturday. The event will begin at 10:15 a.m. with a ceremony at the City Church (formerly The Gatherings) at 216 Monroe Street. At noon, the procession will move to Woodlawn Cemetery, 332 Maple Avenue. The event is spearheaded by historic interpreters John and Stormy Brasuk, who will appear in traditional Native American clothing. Activities include an exhibit, talks, and demonstrations from 10 a.m.. until 5 p.m. each day.
